SANA'A - SABA : Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor, Supreme Political Council member, stressed the depth of Yemeni-Chinese historical relations and the development they have witnessed over the past seven decades.
During his meeting on Tuesday with the Prime Minister's Advisor for BRICS Affairs Fouad Al-Ghaffari, the Supreme Political Council member pointed to China's vital role within the BRICS grouping, which seeks to create new opportunities for cooperation between the peoples of the world and establish a multipolar world.
He pointed to the upcoming 68th anniversary of the establishment of Yemeni-Chinese diplomatic relations, which will fall on September 24.
Dr. bin Habtoor conveyed congratulations to the Chinese friends on the 68th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, as well as the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, and emphasized the common destiny that united Yemen and China in the past on the paths of Yemeni frankincense and Chinese silk, up to the contemporary position of the two countries on various issues.
