New York - Saba: Standard & Poor's has raised the credit rating of the Sultanate of Oman to "BBB-" from "BB+", indicating a stable outlook due to improvements in the country's financial performance.
The "BBB-" rating is the first level of the investment grade index and represents a safe investment environment.
The improvement is attributed to ongoing measures to enhance public finances, government restructuring efforts, and commitments to reducing public debt, corporate governance, and indebtedness.
