The Kuwait Stock Exchange saw a decline in trading on Sunday, with the general index dropping 70.37 points, or 1%, closing at 6965.71 points.

A total of 458.8 million shares were exchanged in 24,374 transactions, amounting to 129.7 million Kuwaiti dinars (approximately 395.5 million dollars).

The main market index also fell by 39.28 points (0.63%) to reach 6215.38 points, driven by 212.8 million shares traded in 10,139 transactions worth 22.9 million Kuwaiti dinars (around 69.8 million dollars).

Additionally, the Premier Market Index decreased by 82.02 points (1.08%), settling at 7500.93 points, with 245.9 million shares traded across 14,235 transactions valued at 106.7 million Kuwaiti dinars (about 325.4 million dollars).

The (Main 50) Index saw a slight dip of 7.43 points (0.12%), closing at 6163.59 points from 164 million shares exchanged in 6,763 transactions worth 16.9 million Kuwaiti dinars (approximately 51.5 million dollars).
