Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Mohammed al-Muwalad met on Sunday with rector of Bayda University Dr. Ahmed al-Arami and Sa'ada University Dr. Abdulrahim al-Humran.
The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation in the youth and sports sectors and reviewing key activities organized by both universities.
During the meeting, the Minister expressed the ministry's readiness to support youth and sports initiatives at both institutions, emphasizing the importance of maximizing available resources.
He commended the significant contributions of the two universities across various scientific fields and their commitment to implementing youth and sports programs despite facing challenges and limited resources.
Dr. al-Muwalad praised Bayda University's dedication to sports sciences, highlighting that the university has dedicated an independent section for this field in its annual conferences for three consecutive years.
He noted the impressive participation in this year's conference, which included 62 research papers—50 from foreign universities and 12 from Yemeni institutions and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
