Sana'a - Saba : Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Jamal Amer discussed on Sunday with the Country Director of the Danish Refugee Council in Sana'a, Anwar Ali, the projects implemented by the council.
Minister Amer listened to an explanation of the areas in which the Danish Refugee Council works, especially in the areas of economic recovery and improving the livelihoods of the most affected groups, as well as in the field of demining, providing shelter , protection for those in need, water and sanitation services in a number of provinces.
The Foreign Minister stressed that the humanitarian projects implemented by the Council are appreciated and that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in implementation of the work program of the Government of Change and Construction, is working to provide all facilities and simplify routine procedures, enabling the Danish Council and other international organizations operating in the country to implement humanitarian and development projects that benefit the Yemeni citizen.
For his part, the Country Director explained that the Council has been working in Yemen since 2008, and that as an international non-governmental organization, it continues , is committed to providing humanitarian and relief assistance.
