Hajjah Governor Hilal Al-Sufi was briefed on Sunday on the progress of the construction, survey and expansion of Bab Al-Batahi - Wadi La'ah - Al-Mahwit road.
The governor listened to an explanation of the components of the project implemented with the funding of businessman Aziz Awad and a community initiative in cooperation with the local authority in the province and the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit to construct, survey and expand the 16-kilometer-long road.
Hajjah governor directed to prioritize the road project in the coming period. He pointed out the importance of road projects in the plans and programs of the local authority in the province.
He also reviewed the needs of completing a water project for the people of Bani al-Awam, Bani al-Qadami, Bani Ghashim and Redman after digging a well with a community initiative, stressing the importance of implementing the project to provide water to citizens.
Al-Sufi was also briefed on the progress of work on the implementation of the two-kilometer road paving project funded and implemented by the Social Fund for Development.
