Hodeida - Saba:
A workshop on the mechanism for implementing contract farming was held in the Bayt Faqih directorate in Hodeida governorate organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources and the Supreme Agricultural and Fisheries Committee in the governorate in cooperation with the Agricultural Cooperative Union.
The workshop aimed to familiarize the directors of the southern square directorates and officials and representatives of agricultural cooperative societies with the mechanisms and procedures for supporting the contract farming project within the framework of the state's vision to translate the directives of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council to support the agricultural revolution and achieve self-sufficiency.
During the workshop, the governor's deputy and head of the agricultural committee, Mutahhar Hadi, pointed out that the Tihama plain is rich in vast areas suitable for agriculture, reviewing the prospects and importance of the contract farming project to support and motivate farmers.
