Boursa Kuwait closed its trading on Tuesday with its general index rising 51.32 points, or 0.73 percent, to reach the level of 7035.74 points.
A total of 329.3 million shares were traded through 17,728 cash transactions worth KD 62.5 million (approximately US$190.6 million).
The main market index rose 112.75 points, or 1.82 percent, to 6,298.76 points, by trading 249.8 million shares through 10,763 cash transactions worth 29.7 million dinars (about 90.5 million dollars).
The Premier Market Index also increased 37.49 points, or 0.50 percent, to 7,570.80 points, by trading 79.4 million shares through 6,965 transactions worth 32.8 million dinars (about 100 million dollars).
In parallel, the Major 50 index rose 144.01 points, or 2.35 percent, to 6,269.58 points, by trading 193.5 million shares through 7,935 cash transactions worth 23.6 million dinars (about 71.9 million dollars).
