The traffic police of the Capital Secretariat carried out a field trip to remove obstacles and concrete blocks that cut off streets or obstruct traffic and cause traffic congestion.
The field trip, with the participation of security authorities, targeted the streets of Al-Sabeen, Safiya and Al-Wahda districts, where more than 500 obstacles and concrete blocks were removed that blocked the main and secondary streets and hindered traffic.
Colonel Najeeb Abdullah Al-Asadi, Director of Traffic of the Secretariat, confirmed that the visit comes in implementation of the leadership's directives of the General Directorate of Traffic, in addition to the directives of the Interior Ministry to remove all concrete barriers that hinder traffic and cause traffic congestion.
He pointed out that the Secretariat's traffic police made an inventory of obstacles and concrete boxes that cut off streets in all streets and neighborhoods of the Capital Secretariat , cause obstruction or cut off traffic in main and secondary streets in front of citizens, indicating that the descent plan was divided into stages until the removal of obstacles to the movement of citizens and reduce the distance and waste of time.
He called on everyone to cooperate with the efforts of the traffic men and remove the obstacles that cut off the streets in front of the movement of citizens in order to reduce congestion , violations and enhance traffic safety.
