The Education and Scientific Research Ministry mourned the death of Dr. Shawqi Hussein Naji Al-Awdi, his wife and their children, who were martyred in an Israeli aggression raid on Al-Mazzeh neighborhood in Damascus on Tuesday.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research, the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research condemned the continued Israeli aggression in committing heinous massacres against civilians in Palestine, Lebanon,Syria, considering this a violation of values, norms and laws.
He confirms the level of criminality reached by the US-backed Zionist enemy and the extent of the complicity of the international community with its institutions , bodies and the disregard of humanitarian organizations for the massacres and heinous crimes committed by the criminal enemy.
The statement pointed out that the targeting of a Yemeni family in Damascus is an extension of the crimes of extermination committed by the Zionist entity in Palestine, Lebanon , Syria and clear evidence that it is a rogue entity that does not value values, morals and international laws.
It stated that the martyr, Dr. Shawqi Al-Awdi, is considered one of the important academic cadres and dedicated his life to science and loyalty to the profession.
The statement expressed the deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the martyr's family, friends and colleagues, calling on God Almighty to grant the martyr, his wife , children great mercy , forgiveness, to grant his family and relatives patience and solace.
"May God have mercy on the martyr's family, friends and colleagues."
