Hodeida - Saba:
Hodeida deputy governor, Ahmed Mahdi al-Beshri, on Saturday met with the World Food Programme (WFP) country director for Yemen, Asef Butto.
At the meeting, Beshri highlighted the gap in food assistance delivered to the displaced and the most needy families in the Yemeni western governorate.
The cut in assistance – from 165,000 to 16,000 cases – negatively reflected on sufferings of the displaced, the deputy governor said, hoping that the WFP would reconsider the decline in order to bridge the gap.
