North Korea has issued a final warning to South Korea, threatening severe consequences if South Korean drones are found flying over its territory.
The General Staff of the Korean People's Army announced Sunday that artillery units near the border have been put on full alert to respond to potential incursions.
According to the Korean Central News Agency, the North Korean Defense Ministry declared an operational order aimed at protecting the nation’s sovereignty.
In a statement, the ministry accused South Korea of deploying drones over Pyongyang on multiple occasions and warned that such actions warrant immediate retaliatory measures.
North Korea emphasized its readiness to "pull the trigger" if its security is threatened, escalating tensions in the region.
