The Kuwait Stock Exchange concluded trading on Tuesday with a notable increase, as the general index climbed 60.88 points, or 0.86 percent, to close at 7,101.90 points.
During the trading session, approximately 482.7 million shares changed hands across 22,383 transactions, with a total value of 83.7 million Kuwaiti dinars (about 255.2 million dollars).
The main market index also experienced gains, rising by 92.66 points, or 1.46 percent, to reach 6,438.96 points. This segment saw the exchange of 334.6 million shares through 13,434 transactions, amounting to 39.6 million dinars (approximately 120.7 million dollars).
In addition, the Premier Market Index increased by 55.40 points, or 0.73 percent, closing at 7,620.52 points, with 148.12 million shares traded through 8,949 transactions, valued at 44 million dinars (around 134.2 million dollars).
The (Main 50) Index similarly rose, gaining 92.35 points, or 1.46 percent, to finish at 6,410.09 points, through the trading of 279.13 million shares across 9,934 transactions, worth 33.2 million dinars (about 101.2 million dollars).
