The BDS Movement and partners have successfully led "BlockTheBoat" campaign that prevented an explosive-laden ship from arriving at Israeli port.

Thanks to constant pressures, Malta government prevented the Ship Kathrin from entering its waters, the Movement said on Wednesday in remarks carried by Palestinian media, as other countries – like Namibia and Angola – disallowed the Portuguese-flagged ship to anchor at their ports.

The ship was loaded with eight containers of explosives used in bomb industry, and was heading for Israel to enhance its military operations in Gaza Strip.
