Capitals - Saba:
Palestinian condemnations of the killings carried out by the Palestinian Authority (PA) security services in the West Bank, especially in the Jenin refugee camp, have escalated with calls for the PA to fulfill its national responsibility and not be an active partner alongside the criminal Zionist enemy in the spilling of Palestinian blood.
For several days now, the PA security services have been waging an aggressive campaign against the city of Jenin and its refugee camp, with the full coordination and support of the Zionist aggressor.
This campaign resulted in the martyrdom of a number of Palestinian citizens, including the commander of the Jenin Battalion, Yazeed Ja'aisa, and dozens were injured with varying degrees of injuries as a result of direct fire by these services.
According to Zionist Channel 12, this security campaign comes as part of a joint plan with the Zionist entity.
The channel revealed that the leaders of the Authority's services received direct instructions from Zionist officials to complete the operation, with warnings that their failure would lead to the direct intervention of the enemy army.
The channel's report indicated that the Zionist enemy gave the PA authorities more time to carry out the campaign if they showed seriousness in targeting resistance cells.
The PA's current practices and policies were met with widespread factional condemnation, as the factions, in separate statements, considered what is happening in Jenin “disgraceful behavior” that fuels internal disputes at a sensitive time and is in line with the Zionist aggression and its goals. The factions called for unity and sitting at the national dialogue table.
In this context, the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas condemned the continued pursuit by the security services of resistors and those wanted by the occupation, “and the escalating and deliberate targeting of them in Jenin, which is fully aligned with the Zionist aggression and its criminality, without any regard for all calls to cease its hand on the Palestinian people and their resistors.”
She said: “The actions of the security services in Jenin are fueling internal disputes that we do not need at this sensitive and fateful time in the history of our cause and the plans for annexation and displacement.”
Hamas called on all factions, national forces, legal and human rights organizations to take a “decisive stance” against the actions of the security services, especially in Jenin and throughout the West Bank, and to put serious pressure on them “to put an end to these dangerous violations that threaten the fabric and stability of society.”
Meanwhile, the Jerusalem Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, called on the people of the cities, villages and towns of the West Bank to strike, declare a day of anger and participate in a popular demonstration under the slogan “The blood of the martyrs unites us and the enemy lurks among us.”
The company said in a statement: “This call is the least moral and legitimate duty that we perform towards the injection of Palestinian blood, in support of the Jenin camp, the incubator of resistance in the West Bank, and in support of the precious blood of our brothers besieged in the Gaza Strip, who are under the oppression and fire of this brutal enemy.”
In turn, the National Initiative Movement called on the Palestinian Authority and its security services to stop the ongoing operations in Jenin, resort to the language of national dialogue, preserve civil peace and national unity, and the rule of law to confront the plots and crimes of the occupation.
It said in a statement: “Internal conflicts and clashes are the last thing our people need as they face genocide, ethnic cleansing and famine in the Gaza Strip and the conspiracy to annex, Judaize and ethnically cleanse the West Bank by the occupation gangs and settlers.”
The Resistance Committees in Palestine also called on all components of the Palestinian people to confront the actions of the security services, especially in Jenin, to put an end to what it described as “the great sin that threatens our social and national fabric and perpetuates the division.”
In a statement, the security services launched a campaign targeting resistors and those wanted by the occupation, “in line with the occupation's agenda, which aims to eliminate the state of resistance, with the aim of emptying the West Bank of resistors to facilitate the implementation of annexation and Judaization schemes.”
She called on the Palestinian Authority and the Palestine Liberation Organization to prevail over the voice of reason and the supreme national interest of the Palestinian people and their cause, and to immediately and completely stop “all these suspicious attacks, which only serve the interests of the occupation entity.”
Political analysts considered the fierce campaign launched by the PA security services in the Jenin refugee camp and their execution of resistance fighters as a dangerous indicator, which comes at the expense of the Palestinian resistance and gives the Zionist enemy additional pretexts to target the Palestinians.
The analysts emphasized that this destructive policy pursued by the PA security services is a realistic embodiment of the concept of security coordination, which the PA has tried to deny more than once, in addition to being a step within a systematic Zionist plan to empty the West Bank of the resistance, in a shameless collusion that reflects the PA's deviation from its national duty and its transformation into a tool to serve the occupation entity and its interests.
