Sana'a - (Saba):
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning forecasts scattered thunderstorms of varying intensity across several provinces over the next 24 hours.
The center reported in its weather bulletin that it expects thunderstorms of varying intensity to fall on the provinces of Saada, Hajjah, Al Mahwit, Amran, and Raymah.
It indicated the possibility of scattered rain, sometimes accompanied by thunder, over parts of Ibb and Taiz provinces , the western provinces of Sana'a and Dhamar, and scattered areas of the Tihama plain.
The total rainfall over the past 24 hours, measured at meteorological stations in Al Mahwit, was 44 mm, Hajjah: 18.3 mm, Sa'dah: 2.7 mm, and Raymah: 0.1 mm.
Scattered rains also fell outside the monitoring stations in parts of Amran and Sana'a provinces.
The center warned citizens of flash floods in valleys and ravines, thunderstorms, and strong winds.
It also warned drivers on mountain roads of reduced visibility due to rain, low clouds, and fog. It advised them to take caution and avoid crossing over ground bridges during flash floods.
