Lebanese Hezbollah mourned on Wednesday the Chairman of its Executive Council, Sayyid. Hashim Safi al-Din, a great leader and martyr on the road to Al-Quds, rose with the best of his mujahideen brothers in an aggressive criminal Zionist raid.
Hezbollah said in a statement: "We mourn to the nation of martyrs and mujahideen, the nation of resistance and victory, a great leader and a great martyr on the road to Al-Quds, the head of the Executive Council of Hezbollah, His Eminence Sayyid Hashim Safi al-Din, in an aggressive criminal Zionist raid."
The statement added: "Sayyid. Hashem has joined his brother, our supreme and most precious martyr, His Eminence the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Mr. Hassan Nasrallah, and he was a consoling brother to his brother, and he was from him as Abu al-Fadl al-Abbas, peace be upon him, from his brother Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, so he was his brother, his supporter, his banner bearer, and the object of his trust, and his dependents in adversity and the guarantor in difficulties, he went on what the Badrion used to be a supporter of the religion of God, pious, righteous, pioneer, mastermind, manager, leader and martyr."
He continued: "His Eminence Sayyid Hashim Safi al-Din has given most of his life in the service of Hizbullah, the Islamic Resistance and its society, and over the long years of his honorable life he has managed responsibly and competently the Executive Council and its various institutions and units operating in various fields and everything related to the work of the resistance close to its mujahideen, close to its audience, loving the families of its martyrs until God blessed him with dignity as a martyr in the convoy of martyrs of Karbala Al-Nouraniya."
Hezbollah offered condolences "from the owner of the age and time, "may God Almighty hasten his honorable release", and from His Eminence the Guardian of Muslims, may God protect him, and from the blessed seminaries throughout the Islamic world, and from his brothers Mujahideen in the Islamic resistance, and from his honorable and patient family, and we ask God Almighty to bless them with beautiful patience and the reward of this world and the hereafter."
Hezbollah pledged the great martyr and his martyr brothers to continue the path of resistance and jihad until they achieve their goals of freedom and victory.
