Occupied Quds - Saba:
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the occupying Zionist entity officially informed the United Nations in a letter of the cancellation of the agreement signed with the "UNRWA" agency in 1967, which regulates its relief operations in Gaza and the West Bank.
This came through the representative of the occupying entity to the United Nations, who informed the international institution of his government's decision to sever relations with UNRWA, claiming that the government "continues to work with humanitarian organizations, but not with organizations that serve terrorism," according to him.
The Commissioner-General of UNRWA, Philippe Lazzarini, confirmed that dismantling the agency in the absence of a viable alternative will deprive Palestinian children of education and their most basic human rights.
On October 28, the Knesset of the occupied entity finally approved, in the second and third readings, the law that prohibits the activities of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) within the occupied entity.
