Lebanese caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati renewed on Monday "the demand to stop the aggression in preparation for discussing ways to implement Resolution 1701."
According to Lebanese media, Mikati announced in press statements, that the Zionist enemy rejected "all proposed solutions" for the ceasefire, and called on the international community to pressure it to stop the aggression.
Mikati said that "the Lebanese government explicitly announced its commitment to Resolution 1701, and its intention to strengthen the army in the south, and welcomed all positions calling for a ceasefire, but the enemy turned against all proposed solutions."
He continued: "We renew our demand for pressure to stop the aggression in preparation for discussing ways to implement Resolution 1701 literally, and as it was acknowledged, without any additions or explanations."
