The Muscat Stock Exchange "30" Index saw a slight increase in its value on Tuesday, rising by 4.1 points, or 0.09%, to close at 4722.25 points, up from the previous day's close of **4718.17 points**.
Trading activity showed a notable increase in value, with the total trading amounting to 9,242,253 Omani riyals, marking a 13.7% increase compared to the previous trading session, which was 8,126,182 Omani riyals.
The market value also saw a modest rise of 0.041%, reaching approximately 27.35 billion Omani riyals.
In terms of foreign investment, non-Omani purchases totaled 1,100,000 Omani riyals, making up 11.91% of the total trading value.
However, non-Omani sales were higher, amounting to 2,118,000 Omani riyals, or 22.92% of the total. This resulted in a net decrease in non-Omani investment by 1,018,000 Omani riyals, representing a negative change of 11.01%.
This information paints a picture of a relatively stable market, with slight increases in both the index and market value, despite a reduction in net non-Omani investments.
