The September 21st Hall for Training, Rehabilitation, and Conferences was officially opened on Wednesday at al-Thawra General Hospital Authority in Hodeida.
The inauguration was attended by Ahmed al-Bishri, Hodeida province first undersecretary and Mohammed Halisi, the Deputy Governor for Services Affairs, alongside Dr. Khaled Suhail, Chairman of the Hospital Authority.
The officials were briefed on the hall’s state-of-the-art facilities, which occupy a 450-square-meter area and are equipped with 234 fixed chairs. The hall is designed to accommodate up to 500 participants for training sessions, conferences, and other events.
In his remarks, al-Bishri commended the efforts of the hospital's leadership in enhancing the medical and treatment infrastructure, including the implementation of expansion projects and the rehabilitation of various specialized departments and centers.
He highlighted that the opening of the hall is part of the hospital’s broader efforts to improve diagnostic and therapeutic services and create a conducive environment for scientific and medical activities.
“This project represents one of the significant achievements of the September 11 Revolution,” al-Bishri noted, emphasizing its role in advancing healthcare services for the community.
He also stressed that the project aligns with the broader goals of the Government of Change and Construction, aimed at expanding services and alleviating the suffering of citizens amidst the ongoing aggression and siege.
Province first undersecretary also addressed the security situation, asserting that the West Coast will remain resilient against any invasion or escalation, reaffirming the commitment to protect the region from external threats.
Meanwhile, Dr. Khaled Suhail, Chairman of the Hospital Authority, explained that the opening of the September 21st Hall is part of a broader strategy to modernize the hospital’s medical systems.
He emphasized that the hall is equipped with the latest technologies to serve as an ideal venue for scientific and medical workshops, seminars, and conferences.
He also expressed gratitude for the continued support from the leadership of the Ministry of Health and the province, acknowledging their contributions to providing essential resources for the Authority.
The inauguration of the September 21st Hall marks a significant milestone in Hodeida's efforts to enhance healthcare infrastructure and foster a more robust medical and training environment for professionals in the region.
