Marib - Saba:

Governor of Marib, Major General Ali Mohammed Taiman, launched today a project for distributing wheelchairs to people with special needs in the districts of Sirwah, Majzar, and Harib Al-Qaramish.

The project, implemented by the Yemeni Organization of Social and Psychological Specialists in coordination with the Fund for the Care and Rehabilitation of the Disabled and the local authority, includes the distribution of wheelchairs: 15 wheelchairs for children with disabilities and 27 for adults, in addition to shower chairs, crutches, and medical walkers.

During the launch, Governor Taiman emphasized the significance of the project, which benefits several individuals with special needs in the governorate.

He stressed the importance of providing care and support to people with special needs, highlighting the roles of the Fund for the Care of the Disabled, supporting organizations, and philanthropists. He pointed out that the care and rehabilitation of the disabled is a collective responsibility shared by all members of society.
