New York - Saba:
The UN rapporteur on Palestine, Francesca Albanese, considered that "what's happening in Gaza in terms of systematic starvation with the aim of destruction is not a war," but rather "genocide."
Last night, Albanese shared on her X platform account a UN report stating that Israel allowed only 30 aid trucks per day to enter the Gaza Strip last month.
She pointed out that there are several means by which Israel destroys the Palestinians and stressed that "the most cruel and complex is creating unsustainable and inhumane living conditions."
Albanese said: "Don't call this a war. It's genocide. The intention to destroy is clear.
“The complicity of other countries is also clear.”
Last Monday, the Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, said that Israel had reduced the number of aid trucks allowed into the Gaza Strip to only 30 trucks per day during October.
