The Executive Council of the Arab and Yemeni Fellowship and Master's discussed in its meeting today, headed by the Minister of Health and Environment, Dr. Ali Shiban, mechanisms to enhance the work of the Yemeni Council for Medical and Health Specialties.
The meeting, attended by the Secretary-General of the Council, Dr. Athmar Hussein, the Assistant Secretary-General, Dr. Mutia Abu Areij, and the doctors coordinating the medical specialties, reviewed the mechanisms for training, admission, and accreditation of training centers in the capital and governorates.
The meeting stressed the need to improve medical services and continuous follow-up by trainers and focus on developing services in peripheral areas by activating the branches of the Yemeni Council for Medical and Health Specialties in the governorates.
He congratulated the great achievement of the Yemeni Council for Medical and Health Specialties obtaining full institutional accreditation from the General Secretariat of the Arab Council for Health Specialties for a period of six years.
