Paris - Saba:
Pro-Palestinian associations, denouncing the Zionist aggression against Palestine and Lebanon, announced the organisation of a march against the match between France and Israel on Thursday in front of the municipal building of Saint-Denis, the host city of the match.
According to the French RMC website, she said: ‘The winds of protest will blow near the Stade de France and a few hours before the start of the match in this fenced area between France and Israel, this Thursday evening.’
She continued: ‘A rally against the match is scheduled to take place at the Saint-Denis City Hall, the stadium's host city, less than three hours before the start of this highly tense match.’
The associations promoted the demonstration with posters posted on social media with the slogans: ‘We don't play genocide’. ‘No to the match between France and Israel.’
The website explained: ‘This gathering is still scheduled for now but discussions are ongoing with various stakeholders regarding its organisation, and the police headquarters has not currently prohibited the gathering even if relocation to another location is still possible, given its proximity to the Stade de France.’
