A training program in the field of advanced first aid for health supervisors in the Capital Secretariat's schools started on Sunday .
The program, which lasts for four days and is organized by the educational sector in cooperation with Al-Khazan Hospital, aims to train and qualify health supervisors in 100 schools from educational construction schools in various districts of the capital city to become trainers in the field of first aid.
At the opening of the program, Ali Merghem, Director of School Health at the Educational Sector in the Capital Secretariat, explained that it is the responsibility of the trainees to hold courses for students in the field of first aid, and to form school health groups in schools of educational construction, in order to achieve the ultimate goal of "a paramedic in every house" through school students.
The Director of Educational Media, Nasser Al-Hajri, praised the cooperation of many schools in the interest of rehabilitation and training in the health field, pointing out the importance of such training programs to raise school health level in all schools in the Secretariat.
For his part, the supervisor of the training program, Khalid Al-Bussair, explained that the hospital is implementing this program in the field of advanced first aid as part of its community services that benefit various segments of society, stressing the readiness to cooperate with the trainees in providing what they may need after the end of the training program.
