Ibb - Saba:
Ibb Governorate witnessed today an introductory workshop organized by Tamdeen Youth Foundation in coordination with the local authority, to implement community-based priority projects in five districts: Al-Dhihar, Al Mashannah, Yarim, Jiblah, and Dhi As-Sufal.
These projects are funded by Europe as part of the Strengthening Institutional and Economic Resilience in Yemen project and focus on enabling local authorities to develop recovery plans in collaboration with the local community.
Governor Abdul Wahed Salah praised the Foundation's efforts in implementing projects to improve infrastructure, support youth, and improve water and sanitation services, stressing the commitment of the local authority to provide facilities for the success of these projects, and called for expanding their scope to include other directorates.
Amr Al-Ghalbi, Director of Programs at Tamdeen Youth Foundation, announced six projects under implementation in the governorate, including:
Two projects in Jiblah District (concrete paving for two main streets and water pumping lines).
Concrete paving project for a main street in Al Mashannah.
Rehabilitation of the Industrial Technical Institute in Yarim.
Rehabilitation of the rainwater drainage system and paving of the main street in Al-Qaida city in Dhi As-Sufal.
Restoration and furnishing of the Commercial Technical Institute in Al-Dhihar District.
