Sana'a - Saba:

The Martyrs' Photo Exhibition was officially opened on Tuesday at Muadh bin Jabal School in the New Sana'a district, marking the annual anniversary of Martyr's Day.

The event was inaugurated by Hassan Ghathaya, a member of the Shura Council, who was accompanied by Abdullah al-Marwani, the Director of the District.

The exhibition, showcasing poignant photographs of the martyrs, their heroism, and the development of Yemen's military capabilities, was attended by many local residents and officials.

Notable exhibits included models of strategic deterrence weapons, symbolizing the country's resilience and defense capabilities. The exhibition aimed to honor the sacrifices of those who gave their lives for Yemen's sovereignty and independence.

In a touching ceremony held alongside the exhibition, female students—daughters of martyrs from the district—were recognized and honored for their bravery and sacrifices.

Both Ghathaya and al-Marwani highlighted the martyrs' contributions, emphasizing that their sacrifices have led to significant achievements in the nation's defense, despite the ongoing challenges posed by external aggression.

The officials also stressed the importance of honoring the martyrs' families, recognizing their role in preserving Yemen's security and independence. Their remarks underscored the deep connection among Yemenis, as well as the collective pride in the martyrs' heroism.

Following the exhibition, Ghathaya and al-Marwani visited the families of martyrs in the "Al-Quran" area of the Imam Ali bin Abi Talib district. They distributed shelter materials to 29 families of the fallen heroes as part of the Martyr's Day activities.

In a separate initiative, al-Marwani visited the ongoing "al-Aqsa Flood" workshop at Sayyida Zainab School, where 55 female principals and deputy principals from government and private schools are being trained.

The workshop focuses on enhancing awareness about the dangers of soft war and the geopolitical conspiracies of Western powers, particularly regarding the normalization of relations by certain regimes in the region.

Al-Marwani encouraged the trainees to use the knowledge gained to educate students on these pressing issues.
