Al-Razi University in Sana'a organized on Tuesday a visit to the mausoleum of the martyred President Saleh Al-Sammad and his companions in Al-Sabeen Square as part of the martyr's anniversary 1446 AH.
During the visit, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Turki Al-Qabbani, along with a number of university leaders, members of the academic , administrative staff and a group of students, laid a wreath on the martyr Al-Sammad's tomb , his comrades and read Al-Fatiha for their souls.
The visitors pointed out the importance of consolidating the concept of martyrdom in the way of God, defending the land, honor and national sovereignty, following in the footsteps of the martyrs and sensing their sacrifices in defending the homeland, supporting the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples, the cause of the nation and liberating the holy sites from the usurping Zionist occupation.
Dr. Qabbani explained that these visits come within the framework of the activities of the annual martyr anniversary, which includes visits, seminars, cultural competitions and honoring the martyrs' families, to express the importance of the occasion and inspire lessons and lessons from the martyrs' sacrifices , the culture of giving and enhancing the factors of steadfastness in the face of the nation's enemies .
