Al Shaab Basic Secondary School in Bayda countryside held a speech event on Tuesday to commemorate the annual Martyrs' Day.
The event emphasized the importance of following in the footsteps of the martyrs and continuing the struggle for the liberation of Yemen from foreign invaders.
Undersecretary of Bayda province for Administrative Units Abdullah al-Jamali called for collective efforts to support the families of martyrs, in recognition of their immense sacrifices in defense of the country’s honor and sovereignty.
Director of al -Shaab School Tamani al-Sagheer highlighted the significance of Martyrs' Day as a time to reflect on the lessons of sacrifice and perseverance in the face of global oppression.
He described the occasion as a "mobilization station," urging everyone to remember their responsibilities to the martyrs’ cause.
The event featured various cultural performances, followed by the opening of a Martyrs' Photo Exhibition.
The exhibition aimed to honor the martyrs’ heroism and raise awareness about the ongoing struggles in the region.
