Taiz acting governor , Ahmed Al-Masawi, inspected on Tuesday the work progress on the rehabilitation of Taiz International Airport.
He listened to an explanation from airport director Nabil Shamsan about the work of removing waste from the airport's runway and rehabilitating it. He praised the interest and follow-up of the Transportation and Works Ministry's leadership and the General Authority for Civil Aviation in the rehabilitation of Taiz Airport to reopen it.
Al-Masawi emphasized the importance of Taiz Airport, which serves a large population density in several provinces. He pointed to the importance of continuing efforts to rehabilitate and operate it.
The acting governor of Taiz, along with the director of the province's Works Office, Engineer Bakil Hamid, reviewed the work progress on the maintenance of the northern Sixty Street.
They heard from the director of the General Corporation for Roads and Bridges branch, Engineer Mohammed Al-Samie, an explanation of the maintenance work, which includes resurfacing and the difficulties facing the work.
Al-Masawi stressed the importance of implementing the project according to the approved specifications and the specified period for its completion as a vital artery linking the east and west of Taiz
