Sana'a - Saba:
A tweet campaign launched at 9 p.m. on Tuesday called for the people of the Muslim world to denounce the ongoing insults and desecration of Islam's holy sites by the Saudi regime, particularly its repeated offenses against the sanctity of the Holy Kaaba.
The campaign, using the hashtag #Fasquwa_Fiha, accused the Saudi government of attempting to erase Islamic identity and values, while highlighting its role in protecting Zionist interests through military collaboration with Israel, including intercepting missiles targeting Israeli forces.
Participants in the campaign emphasized that the Saudi regime’s actions, such as hosting lavish festivals of "debauchery and immorality" while Palestinians and Lebanese suffer under siege and violence, reflect a betrayal of Islamic principles.
The participants condemned the regime for spending billions on entertainment while ignoring the suffering of Muslim nations, especially Palestine, and its failure to defend the sanctities of Islam.
The tweet campaign also criticized the portrayal of the Kaaba in dance festivals and events, calling the display a direct insult to the Muslim holy site, accusing the Saudi regime of implementing a Zionist agenda to diminish the spiritual significance of Islam’s sacred symbols.
Activists urged Muslims, particularly those from the Hijaz and Najd regions, to not remain silent about these insults and to stand up against the regime’s corrupt actions.
In their posts, they questioned the silence of Muslim scholars and clerics, urging them to speak out against the regime’s actions.
The campaign expressed concern over the dangerous normalization of such actions and warned of the long-term consequences for the Saudi regime and its collaborators if they continue to disrespect the sanctities of Islam.
