Acting Governor of Dhale' Abdullatif al-Shaghdari visited on Thursday the central exhibition of photos of the province's martyrs in Damt city , as part of the annual Martyr's Day activities.
Accompanied by local, security, and executive leaders, al-Shaghdari toured the exhibition, which showcased images and models that reflect the resilience and sacrifices of the martyrs in defending Yemen against aggression.
The exhibits emphasized the steadfastness of the Yemeni people and their determination to protect the nation's sovereignty and dignity.
During the visit, the Acting Governor and his companions highlighted the significance of commemorating the martyrs, stressing the importance of honoring their sacrifices in the ongoing struggle for Yemen's independence and the broader support for the Palestinian cause.
They emphasized that Martyr's Day serves as a time to reflect on the valuable lessons and principles demonstrated by the martyrs' courage and dedication.
Al-Shaghdari and the accompanying delegation also visited the Martyrs' Cemetery in Damt, where they recited al-Fatihah for the souls of the martyrs who gave their lives for the nation's honor and freedom.
Abdulrahman al-Wajeeh, Head of the General Authority for Redressing Grievances, and his team visited the exhibition, paying tribute to the martyrs and recognizing their heroic sacrifices for the security and independence of Yemen.
The exhibition serves as a poignant reminder of the martyr's role in defending the nation's values and inspiring future generations.
