The resolution adopted by the UN General Assembly against Iran, on the pretext of human rights, is a hypocrite measure and evident example of political abuse of human rights to achieve illegal objectives, spokesman for the Iranian foreign ministry said on Thursday.
The resolution was presented by Canada, US, Germany, UK and others western countries that violate human rights and are involved in the Zionist genocide crimes against the Palestinian people, Ismail Baqaei added in remarks carried by Tasnim.
Iran will save no effort in protecting and promoting the human rights, he said, dubbing the wording of the resolution as a gross moral scandal of its western makers.
