Sana'a - Saba:
Shura Council strongly condemned on Thursday America's use of veto against draft resolution submitted by non-permanent member states of the Security Council calling for an immediate end to the Zionist aggression on Gaza.
The council considered in a statement that America reaffirms, by using the veto for the fourth time against draft resolutions to stop the aggression, its unlimited support for the Zionist entity and its actual participation in the war of extermination, starvation and ethnic cleansing in Gaza for more than 410 days, which has resulted in the martyrdom of more than 43 thousand and the injury of more than 104 thousand, most of whom are women and children.
The statement pointed out that America has set a record in using the veto power, reaching "49 vetoes" against draft Security Council resolutions related to the Israeli occupation since its first use in 1970, which provided the entity with full protection and gave it more audacity to rampage and commit fascist crimes in Palestine, Lebanon and the region.
The Council denounced the shameful failure of the UN Security Council to maintain international peace and security and its inability to face American hegemony, and its failure to assume its responsibilities in providing protection to the defenseless Palestinian people.
The Council called on all free and living and resistant forces of the world to take urgent action at all levels in order to form pressure to restrain America from continuing to provide political and military cover for the Zionist entity to exterminate the Palestinian people.
