The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Wednesday that its forces were able, during the past 24 hours, to liberate the town of Novaya Ilyinka in the Donetsk Republic, eliminate 1,535 Ukrainian soldiers, and destroy dozens of tanks, armored vehicles, and other Western weapons of Kiev forces on various combat fronts.
The ministry reported in its daily report on the progress of the special military operation that the Russian "North" forces strengthened their positions in the Kharkiv province in northeastern Ukraine, inflicted 60 deaths on Kiev forces, and destroyed four vehicles, Western cannons, and an ammunition depot.
The "West" forces improved their positions in the Kharkiv province and the Donetsk Republic, repelled four attacks, inflicted 450 deaths on the Ukrainian army, and destroyed four armored vehicles, Western cannons, two electronic warfare stations, and four ammunition depots.
According to the ministry, the Russian "South" forces strengthened their positions in the Donetsk Republic, repelled three attacks, inflicted 400 casualties on Ukrainian formations, and destroyed two vehicles, an ammunition depot, and two Western cannons.
The "Center" forces liberated the town of Novaya Ilyinka in the Donetsk Republic, and repelled ten Ukrainian attacks, during which the attacking forces lost 415 soldiers, seven vehicles, and Western cannons, while the "East" forces continue to advance in Donetsk and the Zaporozhye region, inflicting 145 casualties on Kyiv forces, and destroying two tanks, an armored vehicle, three vehicles, and Western cannons.
The "Dnepr" forces inflicted heavy losses on the Ukrainian army in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, inflicting 65 casualties, destroying three vehicles, a Western cannon, and an electronic warfare station, while the Russian forces continue to destroy Ukrainian infrastructure sites and military airports in combat zones, where 54 Ukrainian drones were shot down.
