The Economy, Industry and Investment Minister , Eng. Moeen Hashim Al-Mahakri, was briefed on Wednesday on the conditions of the Yemeni Company for Textile Industries factory in Capital Secretariat.
Minister Al-Mahakri learned about the reasons for the stoppage of the factory and plans to restart its facilities and the rotation of the production process.
He expressed his regret for the stoppage of this large production facility during the previous years. He stressed that the ministry will work with the company's leadership to restart the factory and activate all wasted industrial capacities within the framework of the economic stimulus program, support national industries and translate the goals of the program of the government of change and construction.
The Minister praised the exemptions provided to the local textile , clothing industry , the advantages and facilities included in the new draft investment law that guarantees the preservation of national capital.
During the visit, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Industry Ministry , Ayman Al-Khalqi, the Director General of the Yemeni Company for Textile Industries, Nabil Al-Rajawi, appreciated the keenness of the Ministry's leadership to restart the factory, noting that the company will work with the leadership of the Economy and Industry Ministry to overcome obstacles and ensure the restart of the factory, whose production capacity reaches 7-8 million meters per year.
