A meeting was held on Wednesday in the capital Sana'a between Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Water Resources Dr. Radwan al-Rubai and Minister of Transport and Public Works Mohammed Quhaim to discuss ways to develop Yemen's agricultural transport sector.
The two ministers emphasized their commitment to enhancing the agricultural transport system to improve the efficiency of delivering agricultural products from farms to local markets.
They also highlighted the importance of supporting agricultural exports, aiming to contribute to the growth of the national economy.
The two ministers noted that improving the agricultural transport mechanism would help reduce waste in agricultural products and increase competitiveness in the market.
They stressed the need for close cooperation between their ministries to overcome the challenges facing the agricultural transport sector.
The two ministers agreed to develop strategic plans to ensure the safe and efficient transport of agricultural products.
