A meeting chaired by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Administration, Local and Rural Development, Ammar Al-Hareb, discussed mechanisms for activating and monitoring development and cooperative work in the Capital Secretariat.
The meeting, which was attended by the Undersecretary of the Secretariat, Mohammed Saree, the Ministry's Initiative Directors, Abdo Masra, the Secretariat's Social Affairs Office, Nasser Al-Kahli, Technical Affairs, Zaid Al-Qalisi, and the representative of the Binyan Foundation, Abdul Hafeez Al-Hisn, addressed the importance of establishing and activating cooperative development associations, given their vital role in local and rural development.
The meeting emphasized the need to activate the media and awareness-raising role to support and assist the implementation of various development and service projects in all targeted districts and neighborhoods.
He stressed the need for coordination between the Ministry's leadership and the Capital Secretariat in various areas of implementing and monitoring cooperative development work to ensure the development process proceeds in accordance with the prepared plans and programs.
The active role of directorate directors, mobilization and neighborhood affairs officials, and development knights in establishing, completing, and activating associations and monitoring their work and tasks was also addressed.
The attendees emphasized the importance of achieving participation, integration, and cooperation between the various parties involved in revitalizing development and cooperative work. This requires completing nominations for development knights, as well as nominations submitted by mobilization officials and neighborhood leaders, in addition to focusing on training and qualification to enhance the capabilities of those working in the field of cooperative development.
They emphasized the need to intensify efforts aimed at involving female development pioneers at the directorate, neighborhood, and neighborhood levels to ensure their contribution to the development process.
