President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi Al-Mashat on Thursday sent a congratulatory cable to President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazwan.

In the cable, al-Mashat congratulated El-Ghazwan, the Mauritanian people on the occasion of the country's celebrations of Independence Day.
