President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat has expressed his condolences on the death of Sheikh Ahmed Mohammed al-Amri, who passed away at the age of 90.
In a cable sent to the deceased's family, President al-Mashat praised Sheikh al-Amri's contributions to his country and community, highlighting his role in resolving social disputes in Dhi Naeem district and supporting local development initiatives.
He also acknowledged Sheikh al-Amri's "honorable stances" in opposing the "aggression and its mercenaries" and mobilizing support for the frontlines until the liberation of Bayda province from "takfiri elements."
President al-Mashat extended his sincere condolences to al-Amri family and al-Amri tribe, praying for Allah's mercy and forgiveness for the deceased.
