Hajjah - Saba:
A meeting in Hajjah province reviewed on Wednesday the progress of community initiative projects and the operation of equipment for the second phase in Kuhlan Affar District.
The meeting, attended by Abdulwahab Sinan, representative of the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit at the Ministry of Local Administration and Rural Development, Kuhlan Affar Director Bassem Humaidan, and Yahya Al-Zailai, Technical Director for Community Initiative Support, examined the status of ongoing projects implemented under the second, third, fourth, and fifth phases by the Central Interventions Unit as part of the Community Initiatives Support Program.
The discussion, which included the Executive Director of the Agricultural Cooperative Union, Saleh Alab Hadi, Chairman of the Kuhlan Multipurpose Agricultural Cooperative Society, Issam Al-Jaboubi, and Public Works Sector Official Atef Al-Jaboubi, also addressed stalled and struggling projects, along with solutions to resolve all challenges.
Participants emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts to support community-led initiatives by providing diesel, cement, and skilled labor for the first and second phases. They stressed the need to encourage community initiatives across districts, activate cooperative work, and support the Kuhlan Multipurpose Agricultural Cooperative Society to implement development projects benefiting local farmers and residents.
The meeting called for enhanced coordination and joint efforts to overcome obstacles and achieve the desired goals of alleviating community hardships, in line with the directives of the revolutionary leadership, the President of the Supreme Political Council, and the government of change and development.
The gathering praised community efforts and their response to the wise revolutionary leadership’s guidance in implementing road and agricultural projects through local initiatives, supporting state-led development efforts, and reinforcing resilience.
