Al Hodeida - SABA:
Attorney General Judge Abdulsalam Al-Houthi continued his inspection visits today to follow up on judicial work in the prosecutor offices of Al Hudaydah Governorate.
During his tour, the Attorney General reviewed workflow procedures in the prosecutor offices of Al-Jarrahi, Zabid, Bayt al-Faqih, Al-Mansuriyah, and Ad-Durayhimi. He met with the heads of the Zabid and Bayt al-Faqih courts, Judges Ibrahim Al-Hatami and Ibrahim Al-Falahi, as well as deputy prosecutors.
Judge Al-Houthi discussed with judges and prosecution members:
- Work mechanisms
- Level of coordination between courts and prosecution offices
- Progress of legal procedures
He stressed the importance of performance quality and speedy case resolution, particularly for cases involving detained individuals.
Additionally, he reviewed:
- Case registration processes and their nature
- Levels of discipline and compliance across prosecution departments
- Manual and electronic record-keeping
- Handling of seized items
- Document archiving
The Attorney General emphasized the need for proper case scheduling and adherence to investigation and trial session dates, while ensuring:
- Correct application of laws, judicial regulations, and rules
- Implementation of general directives and circulars
to achieve prompt justice.
He also ordered the release of a convict sentenced in a private rights case and the suspension of a financial penalty and private rights sentence against a female convict after their obligations were settled through the Attorney General’s office.
