The Health Office in Hajjah province on Thursday handed over the Bani al-Shamakh Hospital restoration and rehabilitation project in al-Meftah district to the implementing agency.
The project, funded and carried out by humanitarian partners, includes the completion of the hospital’s second floor as well as the rehabilitation and restoration of the existing facilities, with an estimated cost of around $71,000.
Dr. Ahmed al-Kuhlani, Director of the Health Office in the province emphasized the significance of the project in enhancing the healthcare services available to citizens in the district. He stressed the importance of completing the project in accordance with the required specifications and standards and within the designated timeframe.
Dr. Al-Kuhlani also highlighted the Health Office’s commitment to coordinating with relevant authorities and humanitarian partners to improve health services across all districts.
