The US treasury will keep trying to minimize Russia's oil revenues, and will likely impose sanctions on some Chinese banks cooperating with Russia, secretary of the treasury said on Friday.
Washington is considering additional sanctions on 'Shadow Fleet' oil tankers, Janet Yellen told Reuters, as the treasury may impose sanctions on Chinese banks in order to minimize Russian oil revenues and restrict its access to foreign resources used to feed its military effort in Ukraine.
