Amran - Saba:

A meeting was held in Amran Governorate under the chairmanship of Governor Dr. Faisal Jaaman, to discuss the performance of the branch of the Public Authority for Rural Water Projects and review the achievements made during the current year.

During the meeting, which was attended by the governorate's undersecretaries Hassan Al-Ashqas and Abdul Ghani Al-Barushi, and the director of the authority's branch, Eng. Kamal Al-Makhati, the authority's plan for the year 1446 AH was discussed. The plan includes the implementation of new projects such as drilling wells, improving water sources, and rehabilitating existing projects, in addition to installing solar-powered pumping units in several priority governorate directorates.

Governor Jaaman stressed the importance of focusing on the implementation of water projects in the districts most in need while coordinating with donors to provide the necessary support to cover the needs of rural areas. He also stressed the need to complete stalled projects and accelerate the implementation of projects planned within next year's plan.
