Al-Bayda Governor Abdullah Idris inspected on Monday the progress of the stone paving project on Martyr Al-Omari Street in Al-Arash district, which is being implemented at a cost of 43 million and 600 thousand riyals funded by the local authority.
Governor Idris, along with the deputy governor Saleh Al-Joufi, listened to an explanation of the paving work on an area of two thousand and 150 square meters with a completion rate of 70 percent.
During the visit, Governor Idris emphasized the keenness of the local authority to implement the project, improve services and alleviate the suffering of citizens in light of the aggression and blockade
He pointed out that the stone paving works and the rehabilitation of main and subsidiary streets come within a package of development projects to improve public services. He urged the completion of the project according to engineering specifications and the specified time period.
