Taiz - Saba:
Acting Governor of Taiz Ahmed al-Masawi met on Monday with UN Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator in Yemen Julien Harneis and his accompanying delegation.
In the meeting, al-Masawi pointed out that the humanitarian interventions of the United Nations in Taiz have greatly decreased and no longer keep pace with the current and urgent requirements in many humanitarian aspects resulting from the aggression and siege, expressing hope for increasing humanitarian interventions in Taiz to meet urgent needs.
For his part, the Resident Coordinator reviewed the projects adopted by the United Nations, stressing that the decrease in humanitarian activities in many aspects is due to the expansion of crises and wars in many countries of the world.
