Dr. al-Dhari stated that during the past period, many urgent corrective measures were taken to overcome difficulties, improve performance and improve the services provided, including establishing a working mechanism to organize administrative, financial and technical work and activating the process of follow-up, monitoring and evaluation of the level of performance in various aspects, and contracting with a number of specialists in the specialties of obstetrics and gynecology, general surgery, internal medicine, cardiology, neurology, and ear, nose and throat.
He stated that clinics, departments, operations and emergencies were reactivated 24 hours a day after most of them stopped during the previous period, and many medical equipment and supplies were provided, including a fully automatic chemistry device, an immune and hormonal examination device and a central separation device for separating blood derivatives, plasma and platelets, with the aim of enhancing the services provided to all patients visiting the Authority.
Dr. al Dhari pointed out that among the developments witnessed by the Authority during the second and third quarters of this year, is the expansion of critical care services by opening and equipping a medium-intensity care room with a capacity of four beds and its accessories with vital monitoring devices, expanding the intensive care department and maintaining and activating many devices, buildings, electrical and solar energy, and activating the oxygen plant, especially with the increasing need.
Despite the difficulties it faces, the Authority is making intensive efforts to develop performance and improve the services it provides to its visitors, and to enhance confidence among the people.
