The local Water and Sanitation Corporation in Hodeida province convened a meeting on Saturday to assess its performance and discuss the challenges faced in providing water and sanitation services to citizens.
The meeting, chaired by Corporation Director Abdulrahman Ishaq, reviewed the progress of activities and projects implemented during the year 1446 AH.
The session included deputies and department heads, who examined monthly reports from various departments, highlighting the progress made in water and sanitation projects and identifying key needs for the upcoming year.
The corporation’s emergency plan and efforts to maintain services despite ongoing challenges, particularly the impacts of external aggression targeting local infrastructure, were also discussed.
Director Ishaq emphasized the importance of continued evaluation and follow-up to address obstacles and improve service delivery.
He stressed the need for collective efforts from all staff members, especially given the ongoing Zionist-American aggression that has severely affected the region’s infrastructure.
Ishaq expressed appreciation for the commitment of the corporation’s management and employees in ensuring the continuity of essential services for the local population.
